Camping for walkers, cyclists and other visitors
All guests must be 18yrs+

We welcome walkers, cyclists and other visitors to the Clwydian Range.
With our campsite just 350m from Offa's Dyke, Wernog Wood is the perfect place to pitch a tent in our wildflower meadow or stay in a bell tent in a ready made bed.
This stretch of Offa’s Dyke crosses the A494 pass at Clwyd Gate, offering a natural break in the arduous run of Clwydian peaks.
If you are walking from Offa's Dyke, use the footpath not the road, marked in red on the map.
Please note that the campsite is strictly for adults who are seeking a quiet getaway.
As much as we love music, we do not allow music in the campsite.

Camper vans
A maximum of two campervans are welcome, but please note that the only flat parking space
we have is in the area course attendees also park their cars… so it is not quite as idyllic as the camping field. You are of course welcome to use the campers kitchen in the camping field which has everything you need including a little veranda with a sofa and a view across the valley.
If your main aim is a place to park to go out and about in the then it is perfect, but if where you park is your main destination we feel it’s important to let you know the layout. Please note that parking for the camper vans is near the Red Shed and you will need to respect their quiet space.
DOGS
Well behaved dogs are welcome in the campsite if they are friendly to people,
other dogs, cats, chickens & sheep, and you must be sure to clear up after them.
