in October we launched jewellery making courses in Wernog Wood, taught by Claire Acworth. 10 students stayed anywhere between one and three days. They came from Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, London, Liverpool and Wales. Some came as a family, whilst others joined a group. Most were complete beginners. So to avoid 'designers block', each came ready prepared with their own, very unique designs. Some involved fairly experimental techniques to achieve their goals but every one of them went home with beautiful and well made jewellery of which they can be very proud.
